Psi
Vampirism
Psi
Vampirism is a term that was created to
describe the act of feeding without
direct physical contact from the energies
emanating from any living thing. It is
often generalized that this feeding comes
from people alone, but this is a
misconception. This energy can be gleaned
not only from people, but also animals or
forces of nature such as a storm, wind or
even the turning of a tide. The only
limit to its uses is deemed by the
preferred tastes of the vampire that is
feeding.
Many of our kind would snub their noses
at the thought of not feeding from a
human, but don't let this snobbery
misguide you. Animals and nature, while
providing a more passive feed, often
provide a purer feed than one can usually
find in a person. In psi feeding,
depending on your ability, you need
merely be in the vicinity of your donor
in order to take the desired life force.
Once more advanced, it becomes possible
to feed from a donor simply by picturing
them in your mind without the necessity
of their presence (see also astral
feeding) If done with the proper
intentions, psi feeding is the least
harmful and safest manor of feeding for
vampire and donor alike. Its benefits may
not last as long as other means, but its
availability is undoubtedly more
plentiful.
When psi feeding from a person, the
energy is usually gained from energy put
off by the donors emotions. Each of us
develops our own "taste" so's
to speak as to what emotions we like the
best. Generally it seems the lower
vibratory emotions (lust, anger, fear,
etc.) seem to be the most "filling"
in many cases, but some have also
developed a taste for other emotions (love,
contentment, elation ). In any case, in
order to feed usually one must be in a
location near a person or a group of
people experiencing these emotions in
order to facility absorption of the
energy. The donor(s)) may or may not be
aware of what is occurring. As an ethical
issue, it is generally understood that
over consumption in any situation (with
or without the donors knowledge) is not
acceptable behavior. In psi vampirism,
over feeding can leave a donor feeling
anything from physically exhausted to
mentally depressed. It is never
acceptable behavior to harm or damage a
donor for any reason. There are those who
break this law and commit what is
commonly called a psychic attack.
Generally the one committing a psychic
attack is attempting to feed from fear (fear
can be gleaned in many non harmful ways.
Sitting in a theatre playing a scary
movie, riding a roller coaster, role
playing, etc). Whether you are human or
vampire, there are methods of defending
against a psychic attack, which you can
learn about in a later article or
consulting the Elder for instruction.
Many vampires find their best feedings in
crowded social gatherings i.e. night
clubs, raves, amusement parks, while
others having more particular tastes may
seek to feed from only individuals. In
these cases, the difference in what is
being sought can be compared as follows.
Jimmy and Suzy are at the supper table.
Jimmy always lets mama slap whatever she
wants to on his plate and eats it all
because he loves it all. But Suzy will
only allow peas to be put on her plate,
and oh DON"T forget the butter! A
pea without the butter is just not a pea
at all! All humor aside, there truly are
those that would not desire to feed from
a group, let alone a group in a place
such as a night club, where they have
"polluted" their bodies with
drugs and alcohol. This does not mean one
way of feeding is better or worse, it
only means different vampires have
different tastes.
Until next time, don't forget to butter
those peas please!
